I'm not sure about your 02 TL, but I had a similar issue putting a "Parrot" bluetooth kit into my wife's 05 Odyssey. I bought a Honda/Acura Metra "reverse harness" from Best Buy and built it into the Parrot harness to avoid having to cut or splice the factory harness. Works great; cost about $25.

well im goin to take a look at that but i think my problem lies behind that plug on the stock harness. seeee, my stock wires have come apart from my plug making my speakers not work well some.. and the other wire is the acc wire so when switch to acc it doesnt even turn on have to fully start the car to get it working. so i really need the factory harness with about 4 - 6 inches of wire to tie onto what i have. im going to cut the plug off wut i have tie the wires into my new factory harness and make it plug into the radio. if thats at best buy maybe so. but its a 2 hr drive so i dont want to make for nothing. If you understand. esp way gas prices are these days Thanks for the help rcktman

I dont think that you can get teh part that goes into the factory deck any where. 2nd i would dmake sure that its the wire harness before i started cutting. 3rd about the only place you will get that plug is the junkyard from a salvaged car.

Check out metraonline.com. They have two different late model Honda/Acura harnesses. The 70-1721 is the female plug to put an aftermarket head unit, etc. into the factory wiring harness. The 71-1721 is the exact opposite. I ended up using one of each to build a custom "adapter harness" to go between the vehicle harness and the OEM receiver in order to integrate the Parrot into the Odyssey. My local Best Buy had both in stock.
