Second Timing Belt On High Mileage TL

I have a 1999 TL with 222,000+ miles. I'm the original owner and all maintenance has been done at the dealership. At my last oil change I was told it was due for a new timing belt and the cost would be $1,000.00. I put 90+ miles on the car daily; it's running well; and I've heard that these cars can go over 300,000 miles. Is it really worth the $1,000 at this point or should I just drive it until it won't go anymore? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I would drive it to the ground and buy a low mileage engine(30,000 miles) for about 500+ 800 installation cost=1300.

99tl 4spd trans hold up a whole lot better than the 5spds. i would be surprised if it was still his original trans.
$1000 is high. ppl get them done for around $800. and independent honda/acura shop can do it for way less and know what their doing

The Honda Acura (independent garage) here does the Timing/water pump for $600-$700.
