the driver seat on my 2003 Acura TL-S makes this knocking noise - it seems to be random - I can't get it to do it if I move around in it. It's more of a "clack" sound....I thought it was the metal seat belt hitting the side part but it happens when I am strapped in...it's really annoying. Anyone experience this?

 

No, but try looking under the seat to see if anything is loose, (i.e. a bolt, something in the track, a foreign object, etc.)

Also try reclining the seat back and forth to see if the source of the noise is coming from there. It could be that one of the splines is not fully engaged.

Otherwise, you may want to get a Priest to look at it for you.
