Seat heater back, replace

Do you guys know where to get a good price on the seat heater pad for the driver's back? Mine went out and I would like to replace it. I figure the last resort should be the local dealer. I've already checked www.acuraautomotiveparts.org.

Anybody know the part number and description?

Now I know how to use that site. Start out big.

Looks like the bottom is 108.18 and the is only 81.33. Not too bad. Shouldn't be too hard.

It's odd that the prices between the CL and TL are different for these parts.

List price: CL-S 127.27 bottom, and 95.68 back. TL-S 103.22 for bottom and back.

Good luck. Make sure you get a set of hog ring pliers to remove all the rings that hold the leather on.

What in the...? hmmm...maybe a little more complex than I thought.

Should I get the bent or straight pliers?

hog ring is like a glorified staple.. noting crazy.. the leather is held on with these hog rings.. in order to put the leather back on u need a hog ring pliers to close the hog ring after you snip it..

Do I need new hog rings to replace them or can I reuse them?

If you have a West Marine store in your area they sell the hog ring pliers and the rings themselves in various sizes, bring an old one with you so you get the right replacement size.

The guy sold me a set one time to crimp some bungee cord in a marine application and they do work great for crimping the little metal rings.
