Seat back fell off of driver's seat

My seat back for the driver's seat just fell off today. Yeah, the whole piece fell off. Nice. I guess it is easily snapped in. Another day in the life of driving an American manufactured quality car. This just adds to the list of problems I had repaired which are, squeaky moonroof (fixed and back again), steering wheel noise when turning, warped rotors, SRS light illuminated, side of bumper above gas tank was misaligned, replaced 5 michelin tires because of bubbles(I will never purchase Michelin tires after these), drivers seat was off track. Tranny is good for now, i only have 28k on my 02 TLS, which means nothing after seeing tranny's go at all different intervals.

The back seat cover is held in there by two plastic clip. I had the dealer fix my lumbar support and they broke both clips, then they just try to push the cover back in like nothing happen. Did you have they fix anything on/in the seat? Go back and ask for these clips.

Were you sitting in the seat? Sorry but the thought of sitting and leaning back and then suddenly the back of your seat falling off is kinda funny. Sorry that happened, how are you sitting in your seat now? What did the dealer say? Hope it gets fixed fast.

I thought I saw something of that nature when I was looking
over the TSB info from the post from yesterday...

Maybe I was mistaken....

He means the vinyl cover on the back of the seat where the pocket is. I don't think he means the whole vertical part of the seat.

I was driving and my friend in the back was like what happened to your seat. The vinyl piece with the pocket cma right off. Right now it is sitting in my trunk, too friggin cold here in NY. So it must have happened the day before when I was driving. I dont have time to bring it to the dealer right now so i am going to try to snap it on myself. Plus its a pain in the ass to get to the dealer. If there is a TSB on the seat cover, thats too funny.
