I have a lot of scuff marks on my side skirts and nothing seems to be working to clean them. Whenever I wash my car (twice a week), I rub down where the scuff marks are they don't seem to be washing off. The only thing that has worked to take a little of the scuff marks off was when I was washing my car in the cold and the water turned to ice and when I simply wiped the ice off with a towel, the scuff marks came off. This won't work no more b/c it's like 80 degress in Chicago. I have also tried using a razer blade and slowly trying to rub off the scuff marks but that hasn't worked either. If anyone has any ideas, please reply. It just makes my car look ugly!!!

Go get yourself a clay bar.
Mother's, Zaino, Clay Magic clay bars are all very good.
You can get Mother's and Clay Magic at most auto parts stores.

Run to your local pep boys or autobarn and pick up a tube of GS-27! That thing really does work! I've taken off tons of scuff marks and minor scratches. I would recommend waxing the area after you use it just to make it perfect!! Just my $.02!!

Use that 3M 2000 grit wet/dry sand paper, works nearly instantly. And does'nt cost that much a couple of dollars for about 3 strips.

haha that's funny... use a sandpaper?!?! right.
i have a silver TL_S with kits..and have black rubber scuff marks under all 4 doors... only way it comes off is with little bit of wax.
u don't have to use any harsh abbrasive or rubbing compunds...especially since we have clear coated paint...i've been using Meguiar's Gold Medallion wax. apply on the affected area and let it dry. then rub it off.
