does it mess with your visibility? maybe your insurance with cover it, they are usually very good when it comes to obstructed vision

You can crack the windshiled and let the insurance replace it for free.
But make sure check with your insurance 1st.

Not all insurances cover windshields without having to pay deductible. Check with your insurance company.

I just got off the phone with my ins. agent because I have some light scratches in my line of sight (from a plastic ice scraper). I asked what my policy was as far as glass and she said that I would have to pay my deductible. She said that if you have glass replacement without the deductible you are paying it anyway through increased premiums. I'm going to try Eastwoods glass repair kit.

POst back up with results. I had something hit my windshield and scratched it up. Tried the PC with an orange pad and compound and swirl remover-light cut and it is better but not gone.

the stock windshield wipers have a tendancy to fall off and scratch your windshield too. The clips that hold in the wire supports on the side get loose and then the supports fall out and then the blade falls out and then its metal on glass. Happened to me a couple times now....lame

This is what happens when you buy blade refills or cheap wipers. It's always best to replace the whole wiper. First off, the cheap wipers just fall apart. Old frames after years of use and repeated refills, loosen and start to fall apart over time and pretty soon a piece of the wiper breaks off and then SCRATCH!!!!

Anyways, sorry to hear about your windshield. Hopefully you get a good deal on a replacement.
