why would i buy a ford

S-Type is overrated. Lousy brake. Handling is not that great.

you can get nearly identical car in Lincoln LS.

Ever since Jag got taken over by ford, Jag has lost its soul. It's merely a stiffer ride version of ford cars.

Jaguar has the name & prestige , but much less reliability , it's a tough call , but for me i'd still get Jaguar.

For performance, handling and the better "Drivers" car, Id go with the Lexus, no hesitation.

me being a GS owner as well i'd say GS.. great overall car. But i like the S-Type Jag its pretty smooth looking of ventage Jag and 2000 and beyond. But if you want speed and a aggressive looking ride get in the GS if you want classy looking ride get in the S-Type. Its a matter of what your looking for.

Gotta Say the Japanese piece of art with a 4.3 liter 300 HP engine. That costs around $50,000!!

If I had $60K to blow on a car I would still take the TLS over those two. Even if the GS has better handling and speed.

However, I might consider some other car than those two if someone gave me $60 to spend. Maybe a 540i Sport or a new model M3. Maybe even an E-series MB AMG.

But who am I kidding. I didn't win the lottery so I'll still with my TLS.
