Question RPM question
hey
when you guys use the cruise control at like 65-70 mph what does the rpm stay at? mine stays at 2 rpms. does that seem high?

That sounds about right...80 is like 2 something if I remember correctly.

2k is about right. Its actually low compared to most cars. Especially when the majority of cars are at like 2500rpm at 70mph

Actually it is amazing considering how low our rpms are in relation to speed and how we can build up power quickly.

ok thanx guys i was just getting worried about my tranny casue i usully shift weird unless im seeing thing. all this tranny talk. dam

TL has a very low rpm when crusing on hwy...
about 1600-1700 at 60mph...

2300rpm at 90mph
and just 3000rpm at 110mph!!!

while a maxima is at 3000rph at 90mph
