Just for the past few days I have been getting a little bit of a rough idle. Not too much, I don't think that anyone else would even notice it. Could this be because I have been using cheap gas?? I asked my guy at the dealership if using cheap gas was going to hurt anything, and he said no- as long as it wasn't spark knocking. No spark knock here. No check engine light either.

 

how many miles do you have on the current spark plugs?

 

Well, I bought it with 46000 miles on it, and it now has 52k. The plugs have not been changed since I've owned it.

 

sometimes i had that too, in the winter it was doin it alot, take about 1.5 sec to start when it should only take .5 sec to start.

 

it could be gas related try a different brand and make sure you use 91 or better octane. if that doesnt resolve teh issue it may be a plug going bad or a slightly stuck egr or clogged egr ports

 

Try a fuel injector cleaner..solved my rough idling problem.
