Rotora slotted rotors and Axis Ultimate pads installed
Just a quick update on the rotors and pads from the group buy....
I've had mine on for about two weeks and all I can say is that the difference is NIGHT and DAY compared to the stock set-up. With all 4 rotors and pads broken in the car has an entirely different feel to it. I actually find myself stabbing the brakes from time to time just to fell how hard these things bite when you hit the pedal.
I highly, highly recommend these as an alternative to the stock braking system. Plus, for looks alone they are worth the money!

what is it with acura's and warping rotors. Even when you replace the stock rotors with aftermarket they still warp.
What if I went with rotora slotted and EBC greenstuff...would I be free of warping for a while?
I don't mind warped rotors, but I don't want it happening every month. If it happened every 30-50k km then fine...but every couple thousand is just unacceptable.

My 2002 TL-S has 40,800 miles on it.
At 17K the rotors warped. Dealer turned them under warranty, no questions asked.
At 32K the rotors warped again. Because they had been turned once, Acura said they wouldn't do it again under warranty. So after going nuts on some poor sap at Acura Client Services, they finally agreed, but said this was absolutely the last time. Techs said they were so bad they had to be replaced along with the pads. So new rotors and pads up front.
At 39K the rotors warped again. I was fed up with the OEM rotors so I ordered a pair of Rotora slotted rotors for the front. Just installed them today (still with the OEM replacement pads that only have 8K on them). It's too early to tell, but I think this is going to work. Brake feel seems better, but that might be just because they aren't warped like the last ones. We'll see how long they last.

I ordered Axis pads and Rotora rotors a month ago from Streetbeat and haven't seen them yet. I heard their service is really bad but I'll wait on them. Hell, what choice do I have?
