Question Rotora Big Brake Kit....

Hi,

I bought the Rotora Brake Kit and I'm having an issue with the wheel spacers and cutting the dust shield. I was wondering, for those who are using the wheel spacers for any Big Brake Kit (Rotora or Brembo), did you also change the studs and how much of the dust shield did you cut?

I'm running into a big delima right now. Should I change the studs? I already test fitted the rotor, caliper, spacer and type s rim. It seems to be about ten bolt turns WITHOUT the spacer installed. With the spacer installed is about 5-6 turns. From the service manual, changing the studs seems to be alot of working; requiring a hydralic press, some special tools, something like that.

Aside from that, the heat shield seems to be pretty simple, but I'm not sure how much to cut. I bent the shield back to allow the rotor to fit, but I'm not sure if that would be safe.

Any Help would be appreciated.

I was trying to install the Brembo GT kit on my car , but it turns out I broke one of the stud and heat shield looks easy to take it out, but the screw is like super super tight. Anywayz...I end it up at dealer...and I use 5mm spacer without longer stud
