I just had the car serviced yesterday at 48,550 miles, and my rotors are still fine. I had them replaced at 15k miles with new Acura pads, then switched over to Endless pads at 37k miles...The pads still show 85% remaining according to the service invoice...And yes, I drive the car pretty d@mn hard...

I have 37k and the rotors are fine. The brakes work great at high speeds, no shake. I drive fairly briskly, and am not sure why all the trouble. At least they're not as bad as BMTrouble-U rotors of the 80s and early 90s. You could'nt get more than 3 or 4 applications at 80mph and you needed new rotors.

My 45k service was $172.22 + tax at Acura of OP, but I declined to get the rotate/balance/alignment, did not need w/s wipers, and brought my own oil, filter and tranny fluid...

How you like not having to clean your wheels - those NA-M pads are just about almost dust free! And BTW, you should get slotted rotors - you'll notice better braking performance over the stock ones.
