Don't embarrass yourself by putting on a "gay-ass" roofwing on your car.

This ain't no stinking ricer!

Actually the roof wing is considered high class trim.... where else do you see it? Mercedes, BMW, a few other guys. but its always been a sign of class... not rice... i would get it in a heartbeat.

I still have no clue what a roof wing is. Any pics of cars with it?? If its what I'm thinking it is I wouldn't want it, but I may be mistaken.

Hmmmm...I'd still have to disagree. I've not seen them on any BMW or Mercedes cars. Show me a link if you have one.

But I can tell you I've seen a ton of them on Civic Hatchbacks and now even on VW Beetles. Personally I think they look like a cheap upgrade and aren't to subtle enough to look classy.

Oh well. Enjoy.

The roof-wing is hit or miss. It is also found on the Outback, the Lumina mini-van, the Toyota Matrix, etc. I would not say it is a high class piece.

Yeah, actually, they are found on a lots luxury cars... I've seen them on all sorts of mercedes, bmws, lexus, audi, etc... I think you talkin bout those crazy roof wings found on civic hatchbacks (like the mugen or feel's) You should quit embarrASSing yourself NOCOLA and look into the subject first before callin it a "gay-ass" roofwing I'll would post pics of all the roof wings my friends have on their luxury cars, but i got no digicam I will post em one day tho....

Thumbs down

Thanks for clarifying Emu. As you said it's found on the "Outback, the Lumina mini-van, the Toyota Matrix" Not luxury vehicles.

Trust me, it's extremely "cheezy" looking ON ANY CAR and I highly doubt the wing would look good on the TL without degrading the look. Besides what purpose does it serve anyway? What, you mean to tell me a TL can look classy with two fins on the car now?

Hmmm I can see the upgrade list now,

-Custom front and rear bumpers, fog lights, side skirts, trunk fin and ...oh another fin on the roof too.

But hey, to each his own right?

That is a pic of a 'roof wing' but it doesn't do any justice to the one that streeteffectz is working on.

It's really quite subtle and not as 'loud' as the one in the pic.

Anyways, here's the link to the thread: http://www.acura-tl.com/forum/showth...threadid=54992

here are what I found on upscale market, and will be suitable for our TL instead of the type on those hatch back...

http://www.racdyn.com/Localized/Nort...nLineStore.asp

also, look in here: very subtle yet functional roof spoiler on those Sedans models... http://www.ac-schnitzer.de/englisch/index.html

here's what I'm thinking:

if you are interested, please give me some feed back...

Thanks in advance
