Did you cut the small plastic piece from your rear bumper? Its a small tab that is part of the plastic rear bumper cover. Can you tell exactly where you are rubbing? How bad is it? I would find out what offset those rims are, rolling fenders is pretty drastic.

Nate....i did cut off the plastic piece and it still rub.... i also used a baseball bat to bend the fender up also. i just didnt bend it eoungh.. MOst of the rubbing went away. its just when i hit a big dip...i scrape.. And about finding out about the offset.. i tired asking everyone and they have no idea what it is...
And what do they do when they roll it?? what do they use? How is it done?

You can roll it with a bat, but it sounds like you did that already. There is a machine that can do it, I'm sure you can find a place that has one. Look for "high performance" racer shops. I think the machine is only like $150.

This is why you have to check the offset of rims before you by them.

RENT IT.
Seriously... you can rent those things. I mean, how many years
has domestic car racers been rolling fenders now. (long time).
So check your local rental store... there is a pretty good chance
they got one. I wouldn't really call it a machine though.

It just bolts on to your lugs like your wheel would and it has a
wheel at the top. You still push it back and forth with your hands.

offset...remove a wheel and see what number is engraved/stamped into the rear of the wheel face. sometimes it is denoted by ET, or it's just the number. you can also calculate the offset...but try looking for the number first.

you can roll it yourself...just contact www.tirerack.com about their haweka fender lip roller. you basically let them put a refundable hold on your credit card (in case you break the tool) and pay for shipping both ways. that's it...just return it when you are done. the tool mounts onto the hub of the axles. it has an arm with a roller attached to the end that does the rolling action. you also get a training video and heatgun too.

Dude if you put maxima offset rims with a 235/40 tires, not even rolling the fenders will help your cure the rubbing... Man I bet those offsets are something close to 38-40, plus running a 8 inch wide rim...these are all bad signs...you need to get a new wheel buddy, im pretty sure of this...btw I can definetly tell you that you have cracked all your paints on your rear fenders...I would suggest you sand the cracked paint off and then get some primer and spray the area then follow up with body colored matched paint ordered from maybe paintscratch.com or a local body shop can mix one for you, then apply clearcoat or else your gonna have rusting problems...good luck...

I called tirerack and they said there a 4 months waiting period on the fender roller and if i was to buy it...it cost 500.00. too much for me..
