Post Road Trip Report

Long time no post...

Just put over 1000 miles on the "Silver Bullet". We took a trip up to the Oregon Coast to get some Cranberry Candy

The TL-S does great on the fast sweepers (US-101) and even handles well in the real twisty stuff (US199), but not like my old GSR. We came home down I-5 and got to see the other side of this car, fast comfortable cruiser that just eats up highway miles and climbs like crazy on the hills. The best of both worlds IMO.

I keep finding the Nav system to be a VERY useful tool, although it dumped us on an old dirt fire road near Coos Bay as we headed to Shore Acres State Park?! The TL-S does OK on dirt by the way.

At the end of September we head out for a Western States National Park tour. She wants to take her new 2001.5 Audi A4 1.8T Avant w/sport package. The Audi sport package comes with 17" wheels and 225/45-17 tires. Not bad...

Which car would you take?

Hey, nice report from a "early" TL-S'r! It's nice to take the thing out on the open road.

Dirt roads are fun, they just make the car dirty!

As for your question, is there any doubt? TL-S!!!
