road rage with 02camary on the FDR

last night on the fdr in nyc, i was heading south bound when I notice a 02+model camary tailing me b/c I was going pretty fast"80-90mph cityhighway", I got kinda upset, note road rage, therefore I pick with the D3, pushing my car really fast and got far from him and then slowed down about to exit, and I see him pull quickly behind me on my left, therefore I broke to my left and then to my right pushing him off to an exit, lols.. okay that wasn't right, but don't underestimate us, our TL might look like a honda or what not, but our engine and capablilites are far greater than you expect, even though this will kill our transmission. don't F*k with us, Tl is a quick and fast car, next time I won't be too nice, I though ended up taking one exit further but I didn't mind I was pretty close to where I need to be, but I bet he wasn't making that emergency exit.. lols..this is great, I love my tl for its quickness and capabilities but hate the tranny so much! I'm thinking of rebuilding the tranny when it fails, and I have a 99tlp with over 140k miles, replaced the tranny once at my expense 10k miles ago, affraid of this one failing too. Sorry this is long just gotta vent about it....

That was me you @sshole.....haha, just kidding. Road rage is NEVER a good thing. I'm glad the TL handled and performed the way it should, but driving that fast down the FDR and the road rage is a
I had a guy pull a gun on me once and since then, road rage is a thing of the past. So not worth it.

I have had a ABP TLS tail me from 125th st down to chinatown once on the FDR. He would not let go lol It is pretty tight on the FDR too to be playing like that especially with a lot of cars.

He's right about our cars. We have alot of power and great handling to get out of bad situations like that. Next time when someone suggests that modding your car is bad, just tell them that we can aviod accicidents with are sports cars, but you won't have that luck in a normal car or mini-van.

All I can say is that you sound too dangerous and inexperienced to be driving.

Hopefully you don't take someone else out with you when you crash that TL.

I have a modded '02 TL-S, it's a nice family car but it's not all that, so I would brag to much.

Hey, I've driven in many cities, and Boston is the home of the worse and most inconsiderate drivers.

Maybe the Red Sox have something to di with it!

Maybe we should poll this

true story! i was doin the same thing on the west end highway except its alot harder cus the deyum lights but neways theres a strip where all the lights are in sync by the chelsea piers. this guy in a minivan was tailing me like that. so i pushed it ( i had a 94 honda - supercharged, exhaust, jdm engine - fast ass car) eventually i hit a red light and the fuker purposly plowed into me from the back! the balls of this dude. he got out and goes thats what you get for what you did. after that i got my TL and i dont do that anymore in ny

another: last year this kid was driving home in his benz. his grl was late for curfew so he was flying down the west end going about 100mph. he missed a turn his wheel hit the curb and the car blew up. the couple died instantly, they were still in high school. the engine was picked up like 15 blocks away. any1 who drives in the ny should know better. its not a good area to go that fast. jersey, delaware and md however are another story................

Three men, one from New York, one from Texas, and one from Puerto Rico, attended a business conference in Chicago. Dinner was included and these 3 men were seated at the same table. They did not need to order as the meal was already predefined and was just being brought out by the waiters. Their waiter comes out to their table and says, "Excuse me, but there happens to be a shortage tonight - we have no more steaks. Can I get you something else instead?" The Puerto Rican says, I don't understand, what is this thing you call a 'steak'? The waiter explains and then the Texan chimes in. I don't understand something either - what is this thing you call a 'shortage'? Again, the waiter explains. Then the New Yorker pipes up and says, I don't get it either. What is this thing you mean by 'Excuse me'???
