thats where I saw the guy put the bypass valve in and it didnt align either. In order to get a perfect fit, you'd have to cut a chunk off the middle of the pipe (say where the A in AEM is) and put the bi-pass valve there, or dont put a bi-pass valve at all.

Mr T, your AEM doesn't fit correctly and broken bi-pass valve broke because you installed it incorrectly
If you look at the instructions that came with your bi-pass valve, for one piece intakes, you have to cut the pipe into 2 pieces

Just like failing to read instructions, I guess you failed to read my previous posts. If you install it without a bipass vavle, it'll fit correctly. If you want a bi-pass valve there, you'd have to cut a chunk off so that it SEEMS like nothing was ever added to the pipe dimention wise.

Doh! Sorry to hear that. I'm not quite sure what to say anymore other than I decided to get the Injen one instead. I'll share my experience with my install whenever I get around to it.

the AEM rubber material from the filter needs to be cut back an inch or two. you also have to cram it on to the end of the stack to make it fit, it will fit snugly and it IS possible to make the rubber grommet work. I have had no problems with the AEM.
