cedric_fl - Thanks for the pictures. I could see them fine! It's kind of cool!

I bet they have a much better NAVI system.

And....Godd Luck with your new Blue ride!

Hey Cedric,

Congrats on the new Honda Inspire, by the way, how do you compare the acceleration of the GTP (w/ all that low-end torque) vs. the new TL-S??

Very interested to know

Isn't it funny how the "luxury" manufacturers like Lexus, Acura, Infiniti -- only exist in the US where we NEED that luxury distinction in order to purchase a vehicle (some of us, anyway) -- everywhere else in the world, it's still Toyota, Honda, and Nissan!

Darn, The Pictuers won't view. Well if you want to see the Picuress, go to the homepage, They are all there.
Yes it is quite a funny thing that we here need to belive that an Accord, Lexus or an Infinity is something more than the base mode suped up. I lived it Japan for 3 years and drove the Nissan Bluebird and Cedric which are the same for the Altima and Maixim. Do you think anyone in america would drive a Bluebird? I thought it was cool driving a car named after me...hehe.

Cool

By the way, I'm a newly aquired 2002 Agean Blue TL Type-S owner, and I love the car. I sold my 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and I must say, you really get what you pay for.
I think I payed a little too much for mine, but hell it is the only blue one in San Dog and It's all mine....

Unhappy

Thanks for the reply.
Good question, well I have to say, The GTP has a quicker feel off the line. No one with the exception of a Porche and a Saleen ever beat be light to light in Florida. On a longer stretch thought the GTP would lose ground and top out at 125. The TL-S is not as quick off the line but it is stronger overall. 0-60 GTP:6.7 TL-S:6.4ish. Fit and finish, GTP plastic and flimsy feel, Shake, Rattle and roll, to TL-S Solid, firm, no sqeaks or sqeuals. The GTP is a great under $25,000 value but it cant compare to the TL-S even if you tried to match the fit and finish.
With all the talk about how great the GTP engine is, It still fell apart after a water pump broke and I drove for 20 highway miles with no water to the dealer.
