is this right?
is it right for the car to shift for me between 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 1st gear when im in the 5 speed???

yes man. SS mode automatically shifts between those gears for you.

the 99's with 4 gears allow ou to control the shifts between all the gears, the 5 gears only allows control of the top 4 gears.
