"Revised/Updated" Tranny thread

Please post ONLY if you have one of the transmissions that is supposed to be an updated or revised one. (made after feb. 05). Please post the number of miles you have on this and/or if you have had the updated/revised one fail.

I'm currently at 11.5k on my revised tranny, no issues at all. 137k on the car total.

Put in 06/2005 and I think its got about 20K on it and it shifts from gear to gear not the smoothest ever but it works well and seems to work good.

Update tranny.

01 TL-p.

Tranny died at 49995.
Replaced July 05.
Mileage: ~65k.

So a little over 15k. No issues so far. Runs well.

One thing I noticed just the other day while changing the engine oil
is that the tranny fluiid is still pretty much clear. With the original
one that failed at 25k it was fairly dark. I hope that is a good sign!

Mine was just replaced this May. I bought it in June. My TL-S had 66k on the odometer then. Got 72k now, no problems at all.

I believe my original tranny on my 03 Type-S was replaced around October of 05 at approximately 87K. Currently I am at 101K and haven't had any problems as of yet

I got mine replaced April this year at appx 49K miles and now, no issues at all at 55K. Car shifts are very smooth, a little rougher when very cold out, but no issues after warm up. The stealership told me that I have an updated newer design with wider tranny fluid channels, smoother gear components to reduce heat and a new control module. Loving it so far and I have a whole new trust in my car that I didn't have after the 1st went out...woo hoo!

I got an updated tranny in August 06 with 67k on the odo, no problems so far. Shifts kinda funny when it is cold out but overall pretty solid when it is warmed up. I only have 3500 miles on the "new" tranny so far.

I've put about 42k on the new tranny, it was replaced 09/2005. The original had 96k on it.
