yeah, I caught that show too, but what's up with this line:

"But prices aren't. The 2002 Acura 3.2TL Type-S starts at $31,710. That's $2,350 more that the standard TL. Add on the only TL option, the navigation system, and the Type-S will run you $33,710. That's more than an LS V-6, about the same as a 330i, and less than a C320"

How is it the same as a 330i? In order to get the same features the TL has in it standard, the 330i would run you close to 40K. We all know that but apparently they don't. Bad job in my opinion, although, it was cool to see them test drive it. If they had the ground effects kit and spoiler on their car, it would've really added more appeal.

I totally agree, my friend bought his wife a 330i, it cost 43k and it doesnt even have the Nav system.

There is no way they compare in price, the TL-S beats it hands down!

Lots of the car rags justify statements like that becuase you "can" buy a 330i for about $34-35K (can't remember exact price and I'm too lazy to look it up!). Good luck finding a 3 series with no options though - not that anyone would even want one.

If you read the line before,
"While the trunk provides 14.3-cubic feet of cargo space. It's one of the largest in its class."

Then it goes,"But the prices aren't" meaning the price is not large. That is what I got out of it.

It's the BMW Conspiracy. Attract customers in at the low BMW price, then start selling those options.

Volvo does the same thing - they advertise the new S60 at $29,995, but add just a few common options, and you're well on your way to $40K... and beyond!
