Reverse Indiglo Gauges installed, NEED HELP!!

Well i ordered my gauges off of ebay, they came in today and i put them in, the install is pretty easy,i taped everything up just like subtledreamer did, but my tach and speedo needles are still sticking, i dunno what else to do, is there a way to remove the stock gauges and just have these on instead of just overlaping te stock ones?

Oh and my speedo needle is all sorts of fucked up, at idle it sits at 60 mph, and goes up from there, and it still sticks

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

tape placement is critical to getting them to work correctly. no you cant remove the oem ones and place them in place of them. and teh spedo sounds like you poped it off to put the guage on

well, only think i can think of for the speedo idling at 60 is cuz u took it off or slightly popped it off without knowing and pushed it back in...

if the tape cant be pushed down enough, next thing i would suggest is take the gauges off and re apply them using some spray adhesive (how i put mine on). It was kinda a bitch cuz my needles got adhesive on them but i just used some alcohol swabs to wipe it off.

to fix ur speedo, do this...put ur gauges back on without the clear plastic cover, that way, you can just reach in, pull the needle out, and try different positions while restarting ur car till it idles at 0. This is what i had to do for my tach since i had to pull it out to clean it, i just flipped it all the way down and kept slightly moving it into the right position till it was correct.
