Question Reuseable Air Filter?

Has anyone put in the Comptech Uni High Flow Reuseable Air Filter in their 3.2 TL? If so, please let me know, and your thought on it.

Thanks!

I have one in my car but it was installed at the same time as my headers and exhaust so I don't know if it made a difference. Merlyn would be able to answer you though. I believe his is in his (now his father's) stock TL.

I have the drop in comptech filter. I really did not notice a difference at low speeds but it feels like the car pulls a little better at higher speeds. Also it is not that loud.

All in all probably just 60 bucks of toys... If you really are looking for hp gains I think the CAI intake is better.

needs to be lowered soon (big wheel gap), maybe H&R Sport Springs?

I read somewhere that foam air filters are better are filtering out crap than paper air filters. Road Rage, is that true? If so, the Comptech filter might serve a dual purpose by helping to keep your oil cleaner.
