Retrofit Choices: Poll Time

Ok, so I am already gathering parts to retrofit my headlights to ellipsoid projectors and have come to decision time. Daytime Running lights, this projector, that projector, both . . . hmm. What to do. I would appreciate any of your input.

Thanks

the tl and s2k projectors are costly but you can find the fx projectors for a little bit cheaper, you can swap out the lens as well to clear lens and you'll have a great setup...

Funny thing is I already have 2 pair of TL bixenons, and a pair of FX projectors should be arriving, well, yesterday. I originally wanted to make the high beams to only be the DRL, but I am wavering now.

I don't as of yet have a pair of s2000 projectors, so wont be able to post that, but I will work on some pics when I am done running errands.

I was told that the TL Bi Xenon pros wont fit our housings, those projectors are too big and they extend too long, it will obstruct the coolant overfill bottle, you will probably have to relocate that if you get the TL pros. I voted for FX BiXenon w/std highbeams as DRL becuase that is what I am getting done, but without the DRLs (I heard you need a relay to use the DRLs so the bi xenon highs dont come on at the same time.

I spoke with some folks, they said the TL pro will fit but takes a bit of work due to large size. That is why I purchased a set of FX pros, just in case it was too much hassle. I must say though, the TL color modded pro is sweet!

Yeah, good thinking. Yeah the cutoff on the TL color modded pros are very sharp looking.
