Unhappy Resonator RIP OFF??

So i took a trip around town looking for the best price to remove my Exhaust resonator(the big one) and found that meineke (SP?) would do it for 45$. I told the guy i wanted to go for that g35 GRowl and he told me that he could make it sound like that buy using "these" as he held up some no-name mufflers that are all chromed out (looked at it and thought Hitachi rice. do you guys think i should go with aftermarket mufflers too? i really dont want to loose the classy look of my TL but i want it to sound like that G. I read on another thread that the growl could be accomplished by adding a CAI(done) and removing the large exhaust resonator (pending). you guys have any hints on how to get that deep sound?
thanks

yeah remove both and also shop around because $45 is kinda steep just to remove the resonator, i paid $30-35 to have the resonator and mid-muffler removed if i wanted 1 only removed it would've been just $20 so shop around meineke is a rip off

there is no way a TL can imitate the sound of the g35 or 350z.
