Exclamation unless you have a type-s you'll be waiting even longer!

problems with proper fitting of the "RES" components has delayed the roll out, and from what i understand the type-s part will be done first , then the "RES" for non-type-s TL's will be produced. don't know the current timetable? maybe BITIUM or RON A knows, and can provide an update? we're all here in so.fl where the "RES" has been developed by the speed performance team @ rick case acura. i think they are the only acura dealer in the country with their own seperate performance "MOD" shop? they developed the 3.5 TL -SX! using the mdx guts from what i can gather, and all the goodies from comptech! 315 hp if i'm not mistaken? kman

Any word on dates? This seems to be a hot topic but nobody seems to know the rollout date. Just curious

Lightbulb

The RES is done. It will be billet and probably different colors(costumer choice)

There is still an issue which is that the minimum number of units, that can be produce at one time will cost over $90k. Doug will either wait until less units could be produce at one time or switch to another production company. So I would say once that issue is resolve the RES will be out to the public.

I hope this is good news.

Is the MMI and MMII easy enough to install yourself, or would you have get it preofessionally installed?
Also I'm wondering if warranty will be affected somehow. I think it would be treated different than say putting headers on.

The MM1 is the RES. The MMII does not have a name yet. But it is an electrical device and it's the size of a small cellphone.

The MMII is on the testing process and it will cost less than the RES(MM1). The RES should be priced at low $300.

The only thing I know is that it will be out after the RES is out.
