I was washing my car just before, I was looking at my leather, It's starting to crack..More like the vinyl that runs on the outside of the seating surface, There's a slit that will eventually increase to a bigger cut It's on the end of a crease of the leather, so it doesn't look like it was sliced, it looks like it wore out to a slice..Is this something that the dealer would replace under warrantee(the Leather skin on the seat)?

Same thing, Acura is replaceing it under warranty

 

I know it would be pricey but wouldn't be awesome to get Recaros for our TL-S's? I had a Jetta GLI with Recaros. Best dang car seats I've ever had.

I have the exact same problem Ed. Last time I went to PAA for service Wayne wasn't around so they told me the next time I'd come in he'd look at it and make a decision. I'm going in this coming Friday for service so we'll see what happens. I'm almost positive they'll take care of it, if so many other dealers are fixing it under warranty too. I wonder if everything matches when they just replace a seat bottom?

That was my next question.... I doubt one new leather seat part is going to match the rest of the 3 year worn seats...Oh well..

Actually Ed....I had that repalced at PAA...

They replace the whole bottom seat.....There is not a piece they can replace...It looked a little weird at first but then it broke in just fine...It's starting to rip again.. I just don't get it..
