Replacing headlights due to film
I went in for service and to let them know that there was a slight hazy fillm on the INSIDE of my headlights(2002 TLS). they are going to replace them but now that i learned that the bumper has to come off, i am wondering if it is worth the effort. Will the bumper get put back (or should i say can it) on correctly? The Svc Mgr also said that unless moisture gets in there they cant replace them again after this.....Im like, look pal, if the film is there in a month your gonna replace them again...we'll see....
So, is it worth doing......?

Loving my 08 TLS!
Yes, I won't definitely do it to fix the headlight issue. Putting back the bumper is not a difficult task. I did it a couple of times myself and no problem so far.

Let them change the housing. The bumper comes off soooo easy it's scary.
Just make sure you let them know that there are no scratches on the car (esp the bumper) when you drop off the car.
