hi, the leather around my steering wheel in my 00 TL is worn and i want to replace it instead of putting a cover on it. would i be able to use this 2002-3 wheel par: (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...QQcmdZViewItem)
. i just need the outer leather cover, so would i be able to strip it off the ebay wheel and put it on mine? or would i have to replace the whole wheel with the ebay one (also is that hard to do)?
as you can see the ebay auction ends soon so i need answers fast. thanks!

you cant take off the leather. You have to remove the wheel and replace it with yours. Yes its pretty easy

correct me if im wrong, but according to the TSB. the 99-01 wheels, and the 02-03 wheels use different connectors for the audio/cruise control switches. so this may not work even if they did take the time to do a complete swap.

the steeringwheel swap isnt difficult. just make sure you have the radio code before attempting this project.
