Repainting

I'm getting side skirts and front lip repainted for $200, my front lip is already on and I just ordered sides. Should I take off the front lip to get repainted?

Unless you want to leave the car at the shop, take the front lip off.

I also have the oem kit thats about to be painted, but the guy thats doing it says i should put the kit on the car before painting it rather then just painting the pieces separtly? He says might chip when trying to put them on?

Is it a good idea to do that instead of painting them separetly?

Guess it depends on how careful you are. I'd vote for leaving them on.

I guess it also depends on the paint job. The guy I'm going to does a good job, so I'm not too worried about chipping
