I'm gonna have to get my door, left fender, hood & bumper repainted (front)

well I don't hafta get the hood done, but I'd like too.

As for the Bumper -- does it come prepainted from Acura? Would that be cheaper?? (like the trim strip was prepainted and cheaper to buy a new one than it was to have it repainted)

Cuz the bottom of my bumper on the psgr side -- there are two very large chips of missing clear coat

 

i had to get my bumper repainted for my emerald green 00 TL, and that was 200 just for a large buff on the left side. this was done at a shop.

 

well thats not tooo bad... but I have red which is supposedly more expesnive

you should just get some of that carbon fiber paper and cover your hood with that. that will save you some money and it will look badazz!

whatever! it will look hot on any color TL exept green. i think i will do something like that when i have nothing to do

 

What is the reason you are painting this parts of the car??
If you do, I'll recomend getting it painted with dupont paint.

Acura does not sell the bumper prepainted.

 

arrrr, dont make me feel bad ab the CF looking good on erthang but green. i paid half! but yet my brother gets to pick the whack color! just another prime example of how a certain mod looks but with EVERYTHING, but green!

 

acura does not sell prepainted bumper because of the paint fade on cars due to the sunlight. My car got hit 5 days ago and went to Acura dealer the next day and asked them if they sell prepainted bumpers and they said no. The bumber cost around 270 at the deal which is not too bad.
