Renovation time!
So yesterday I painted my grill white to match my car, and over winter break in 2 weeks I am going to blackout the headlight housing and paint the bottom grill white as well.
My question is how should I do the lights? Gloss black? Flat? Clearcoat? Should I sand? Primer?
I know its an odd question, but I am worried that there either will be too much or will not be enough glare if the lights are gloss or flat black, respectively. Whatya guys think?

don't do full black..
tape off the areas where the light reflects off of.(signal and parking)
you'd want the color balance of your WDP to match with your headlights.. not too much black of the headlights but not sooo much reflective chrome.. get what i mean? haha.. @_@..
i used the gloss black paint and hit it with some clear. both from duplicolor.
there is a paint that i used and it just came out nice and glossy.. didn't need to clear coat.. don't remember which paint from duplicolor but yea..

Yeah, I plan on leaving the chrome reflective "ruffles" if you will. l0l.
And I am going to paint the reflector white, to keep the balance going. Because the grill is now white and chrome trim, the lights will be black and chrome trim....I think it will come out nice.

painting the reflecters white looks nasty
but anyways ANC297 i think you should just color match the surrounds in the headlight,
but yeah like what jjashaa said don't do the reflecters (for any lights) black (or color matched), cause tthen it is just too much of one color
