removing the exhaust resonator?
hey i have an 03 tl-s with intake, headers, and test pipe, and i was wondering if i remove that big canister in the middle of the car, im pretty sure its my resonator, will my exhaust get extremely loud, right now since i have stock piping its still quite with a g35 tone to it and i love it, but im thinking that the resonator is restricting the exhaust flow some..i was wondering if my exhaust is gonna get loud, or will my mufflers keep it quite still.

it'll sound extremely ricey.
you got enough free flowing exhaust that taking off the resonator would open up the sound... making it sound more ricey due to the small piping size of the exhaust... leave them on.

try it.. play around with it.. its your money. haha.
i would leave it on.. i took mine off my TL-P (a tad smaller piping size) and i had just the straight piping with headers and it sounded ultra rice.

Could also try this

I used it in my last car after I did a resonator delete and it sounded awful.
The magnaflow fixed that ,made it sound way better.
