removing dash question

hi guys,

just wondering if any of you have removed the dash using the instructions on the service manual.

my specific question is about the bolts on the passenger side labeled 'B' on 20-73

is the second of the two bolts (first one is easy to spot), in the top right corner of the passenger side dash? it's in a very tough spot. underneath the dash near the A pillar.

can't pop my dash off, but it seems close and i am missing a bolt.

thx

It's just like the service manual picture shows. It's there, but it is difficult to reach. You should be able to get it with a socket extension, and maybe a u-joint. The dash definitely won't come out if you don't take it out.

thanks man, it must be the the last bolt.

i asked because it was covered in the same paint as my car's exterior (naples gold), suggesting it hadn't been touched. i guess removing the dash is a rare task because most things can be fixed without moving it.

since i don't have the tools i'm just going to let a lucky mechanic finish the job, removing this bolt and switching the harnesses.

thanks man.
