Hey i am currently removing the dash and I know there is a DIY how to do it but I cant seem to find it. I have seen it before. Could someone please link me it. I am currently stuck trying to get the piece around the shifter off. I cant seem to get the seat heaters buttons out.

its very easy..

2 screws and gently pull towards you. i would remove the steering column cover to make it a bit easier.

a tip... if you remove the drivers side underdash you can get behind the dash for alittle extra force.... make sure you have your balls handy because they can be a bit tight. hope i didnt forget anything..

hope this helps and good luck.

lets see if i remember.. just incase you have no luck finding the diy

1. remove drivers side underdash. 1 screw at fuse box. gently pull towards seat releasing the dash. there will another screw in the bottom right corner of the dash that hold the leather paneling on the center console.

2. remove wood trim, pull upwards

3. Starting on left side of console. there are 2 screws "next" to radio holding the leather panel, right were your cup holder is there is two "gold" color screw take them out also. Same for right side.

4. pop open the arm rest remove the carpet insert and extract 2 "gold" screws.

5. lift on arm rest and pull towards rear seats.

6. remove the leather paneling on each side of center console by pulling near the center releasing the clips, after releasing center clips pull paneling towards rear of car releasing clips located in "dash" area. (same for boths sides)

7. if i remember correctly there should be 2 screws that hold the radio and the console together.

8. remove screw from under ash/coin tray behind little panel that you remove by pulling towards you.

9. you should be able to slide your hands under seat heater buttons and push them out. a bit tough sometimes.

10. remove trim ring around shifter if you like, might make it easier to remove console.

11. shift car out of park, pull "up and out".

12. dance around parking lot.

sorry if i missed anything. i tryed to type as fast and detailed as possible im at work. let me know if you have any troubles or questions. good luck
