I am thinking about removing just the "3.2 TL" from the upper left of my trunk. I am definitely going to leave the logo and the "ACURA". Should I do this? Is it hard? Will there be any sticky stuff that will be hard to get off? What do you guys think?

anyway, it's a personal preference. i like to have my 3.2TL TypeS there, looks cool. if you wanna remove them, it's very easy. put the car under the sun for several hrs until the car got heated up, then use a credit card (visa?) or dental floss to take out the badge. the remaining stuff should be easy to clean. wash the area, put in a layer of wax, boom you are done.

you can use hair dryer at low heat as well

 

I am debating about removing it also.

I removed the 3.2TL and the ACURA. I dont regret it either. It makes the trunk look alot cleaner.

 

I removed the 3.2TL and kept the Acura. I really like the look.

 

I removed the 3.2TL badge. It looks much cleaner in the back now. It was very simple to remove. I didn' even have to heat it up. I remember someone recommending using a credit card t take of the badge.

 

I took off the 3.2tl also. Like it much better. Less cluttered look for sure.

 

Remove 3.2TL and go for 32V instead...

Is that V as in valves?? Because the TL only has 24 as does the inspire. I debadged the 3.2TLtype-S badge on my car. Come on CarFreak Redebadge your car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He put his emblems back on!!!!!!!

Dont worry... A C U R A is still there.

 

Japan INSPIRE has 3.2L & 2.5L model. Basically 3.2L is INSPIRE TYPE-S in Japan and 2.5 is INSPIRE premium. 3.2L model has 32V and 2.5L model has 25V.

 

I decided to go against everyone's advice and remove the 3.2TL. I love it! It looks so much better without it. Thanks for all your comments and opinions.

You're right, it does look too plain without the spoiler.
Don't forget to post pics of the spoiler and exhausts once you put them on.

 

Sorry, just my little attempt at humor. It was pretty unanimous that a cleaner trunk is a better trunk. I took off the 3.2TL and love the look!
