Remote trunk release not working

Here's the story, Live in NJ, f****** cold. Walking to my car hit the remote to release the trunk-- works fine. Drive home ('bout 1 hr), got to press the trunk release in the car and nothing happens. Hit the remote nothing happens. Trunk won't open. go through the manual, nothin'. Now I have to manual open the trunk through the access area in the rear seat.

Has this happened to any one before? Is this something I can fix myself or do I have to go to the dealer?

Thanks,

if not id check the fuses, and lastly then if still nothing, id have to say the electrical motor went bad?

Do you hear anything at all when you hit the remote release on your drivers door like an electrical relay or something?

The trunk release switch is in the on position. Looked in the manual for the right fuse, but nothin indicating the trunk release fuse.

This is really annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I hit the switch in the car I get nothin, no sound, and usually I can feel a slight click, now nothing at all. Also, when u hit the remote trunk release are the lights suppose to flash?

if you are still under warrenty just take it to the dealership.. let them worry about it. My rear passenger door started acting up a few days ago and they are replacing the actuator on friday.... hopefully that solves the problem.
