Remote door poppers

i remember seeing sum car on ebay with shaved door handles. and they had a remote door popper which wud pop the doors open a couple of inches,a nd then u open it. has ne1 heard of it? if so, how much do u think it costs? and how the hell do u shave doorhandles? u replace it with sheetmetal, buff it down, and paint over it. damn that must cost a fortune. it cost me 300 just to paint a 3" by 13" buff on my jeep!

I saw many cars and trucks with shaved door handles and remote poppers.

The poppers are like 135$ for 2 of them. You'll need 4. so 270$....

It's a little expensive. Plus you have to shave your door handle and it'll cost you a lotta $$$!

i've seen a system better than just popping the door open a few inches. in tokyo, cabs have a door system whereby the door FULLY opens and after you get in, it AUTOMATICALLY closes the door for you...now, i want THAT system in my car.

only in japan...

If confronted with a dead battery, ricers have been known to open the trunk with the key, open the rear fold-down seats, and climb their way inside the car. This is not possible in our TL cause we don't have a keyhole in the trunk and our rear seats don't fold.

A second option that poses a security risk. People put a back up override switch underneath the car. They push that switch and the car door solenoid pops open, powered by a reserve battery or capacitor.

I would pay cash money to see the classic 16 year old skinny rice boy scrabble his way through the ski hole...that would be something I would keep forever in memory

thank you for the insight bebber. however, as a party trick the jedi mind trick would be much more entertaining.
