I bought a 97 3.2TL and it came without a remote. I got a remote off ebay but I realized it might not work for my TL. It's a 4 button remote with trunk/lock/unlock/panic. Does anyone know how to program this or is it the wrong remote? I got instructions from the dealer but it didn't help.

I picked up a remote from a junk yard....so I have 3 right now which I really dont need that much If you name the right price, I'll let u have it.

it's from a 2002 TLS....the remote is of the silver kind (newer model) if u know what i'm talking about.

 

We have a 97 TL as well and it has a 2 button remote. Black in color. Unlock/locks the doors only. You may have the wrong one.

I took it to the dealer and they said it was the wrong remote and it will be about $100 for the one I need.....oh well I will just get it off ebay or something
