i know that feeling exactly, and after having my 00TL for a year, i was in that same place, and the only solution i came up with is to buy a 02TL-S

what we need is a way of reproducing that highly toxic, hazardous new car smell... not that cheesy 'new car smell' freshner that they sell in car washes...

Interesting, 'cause one of the things I notice most (and others do too) about the car is that it still smells like a "new" car, 22k miles later...

tips (and granted, Acura appears to hold its new car smell better than others):

- No smoking 'xcept for ilegals with all windows down.
- No eating, 'xcept for hotties, inside the car. Not even with the windows down.
- Ventilate (lower windows and travel 35 mp/h or above at least once a week.
- Avoid scented products at all costs, including leather conditioners and vinyl cleaners.

Making sure you take a shower once in a while before getting in your ride helps a lot too.
