are they any long term effects of using reg gas? would i be able to get back my performance if i was to go back to prem.?

 

In the owner's manual it jsut say requires prem but reg can be used with performance reduced. I been using reg for the last 2 tanks.

How old are you? I am eighteen and willing to shell out the extra money to get the better gas. It isn't worth the risk for a few pennies.

yea, i'm 18, but i'm not exactly a rich 18 year old, i get 5.65 n average 12hrs a week, i'd get more if i could, n how did i get a 30k car, well i got it for 16.5k...

i did a search, i looked up gas, n some BS came up, n also does this site load kind of slow, it load slow than the CL site, in case, yea i do run a 56k...

 

n oh yea, the bill are rapin me up the a$$, plus i want to get some other things as food, food, my 9mm, a piece without bodies on it so i need about $200, n whatever else that comes my way....

 

yo, fuk that! i am 17 and pay the lease. i put the best gas in my baby. if u bought ur car then u shud b responsible enough to take care of it to the point where u cud at least put decent gas in it. on the other hand, if ur parents got u the car, then u shud AT least shell out the extra bucks to take care of ur car, which u didnt even buy. these rent fuking civics. i treat my car like it was a benz!

I didn't buy my car, but I love it just the same. It is nothing but the best for my baby. Premium gas, zaino, lexol, and me.

and to answer the original question, it doesn't hurt your car to put in reg, the ecu will adjust itself and reduce the power of the car. so in short, your car goes slower.

and come to think about it, premium and reg are usually 2c/gallon diff. so say you get a full tank of gas once every week, a yr (52 weeks) it would be 177 bucks (176.8 to be exact) difference. imho, i got my car for its performance over the tl-p, why would i spare that 177 bucks and make the car slower?

 

thanks for the answer, over here it's like 16cents/diff, so .16*17.2*52=about 140, but it feels like i'm saving more, just like when i put just 3 bones of gas in...

yeah, 200 for a glock, 800 for an AK buddy told me this is cheap for an AK, too many boys got burners, couple weeks ago i was wit a church buddy, we was at wendy's, n he saw some jit he had beef wit, so we rolled up on em, n his buddy pulled out on us, talkin bout he gonna shoot us, i'm like how bout you wait n sec, let me make this phone call, n we could shoot together, i got the phone, he got in his car, i look he just sat there so i'm like aight, he ant goin now where, then he hit my buddy wit the back of his car...then when i was a sophomore at the Creek on OBT, we got in a fight, n we meet under this bridge, two jits pulled out uzis on us, thats the first time i saw something like that, i thought that was movie type $hit, i was in the car takin my chain off, but when i saw that i stayed right in the car...
