hey Ontario, what size LED does it use..hopefully a 5mm, and did you use a resistor or was there no need for that.

Use a 5mm and no resistor isn't required since one is already installed for the original red LED. Just make sure you position the led the right way, and dont copy what the red led is oriented. The cathode and anode is different on it. When you remove the red led you will see a marking on the board that has a led with a flat side on one end. The blue (or whatever colour) led will have a flat side to it (bottom edge), install it accordingly. And dont have the solder iron on too long with the LED or you will burn it out quickly. I learned that the hard way when I was converting someones power window swtiches.....lost 3 out of 4 leds because of that....

If I have done the LED door mod, and put 13 LEDs in my trunk, you think I could do this? I mean the worst thing that could happen is the light not blinking anymore....and do you think White would look alright, Im doing an all white LED conversion.

Yeah you should be ok doing it. Its not hard, just its all timing with the solder iron...LEDs dont like heat too well. If you have a solder sucker it would make your life better to remove the original led and then easily slide the new in.

White would be fine...its all personal preference.
