Recall notices
Just called Park Ave Acura's service dept regarding to several recalls. The windows recall is a definite. However, the seat belts is not an official recall. They said they will need to be checked. I also mention about the uneven tail pipes and they said they haven't seen that yet, but they are happy to take a look at it. I hope this is helpful to everyone since I've seen a lot of post related to problems that we all have on our TLS. Please feel free to add any additional info that I am not aware of.

Acura has recently sent out a memo to the dealers on the seatbelt issue, but apparently no word yet on when they will ship the replacement units. Your seatbelt will be checked and if it fallswithin a certain number range it will be replaced.
As far as the power window units go most dealers have the replacement units in stock and if your car is one of the affected ones you should have received a recall notice by now.

I'm scheduled for the end of this week at Park Avenue Acura. The window is scheduled for .5 hrs. and they'll hold 2 Parchment "buckles" for me until they evaluate if replacement is required (1 hour estimated replacement time).

According to the service manager if the seatbelt buckle (the one by the center console) has a manufacture date of February then it may have to be replaced if it falls within a certain number range. The number on your buckle determines if it falls within the “falutly”batch. My guess is that Acura discovered that some buckles from one of the early batches was defective and this is the batch they are replacing. I would call your service manger and clear this up with him if I were you.
Posted the EXACT ACURA Window Recall Notice as a new topic, today, in the TL-S forums. Just use this link and it will answer ALL of your questions about the Window Recall issue . . .

As far as the Seat Belt Recall issue my ACURA dealer's service manager told me today it is BOTH front seats seat belt buckles that must be replaced. And if I understood him correctly both front seats will more than likely have to be removed in order to do this. Pardon me but I just gotta scream this "BULL SHIT"
There I feel better; but not much
