Recall Items
Tuesday I called Acura Customer Relations, 800-382-2238 and provided my VIN number. This allows a rep to look up any recall notices for your vehicle. Well, I had 2......window control unit needed to be replaced as well as something with the seat belts.
I'm not so sure the dealership would have taken the time to look it up (I could be wrong) so you guys may want to call in with your VINs and see if there are recalls on your Type Ssss.
Best wishes

Neither is really a critical recall...I had them do both and TRY to fix the creaky drivers seat when I had it in for the first oil change. They did it all...gave me a loaner and offered to wash and vacuum the car all at no charge.
I agree, and think it's great that Acura is making good on these items. I'm just trying to keep everyone informed on how to find out IF there is a recall item on your car. With the information, each owner can make sure their cars are included in the recall.
Just want to clarify...did not intend to make these items sound critical or serious

Actually, ever time you bring your car in to a dealer for service the system they use checks for outstanding recalls. Even without you asking the dealer will perform the recall work in addition to what you brought it in for.
