Lightbulb Rear Window Spoiler

Hey guys,
I've been working on a roof spoiler for my ABP TL-S. It will be almost identical (shape-wise) to an AC Schnitzer rear window spoiler. If I get enough positive response (for those who would want one), i will take the next step and look into a manufacturer who will take my "prototype-lol" make a mold, and produce by i guess injection molding...

Let me know guys... give me a lil fire under my belly to get this going!

I'm down for that...it'll look sweet...my only concern is do you know how it would be mounted? i'm pretty sure the ac schnitzer has mounting brackets (don't know more than that)?

Would it come as a standard black, to match the molding around our windows, or meant to be painted to match the cars? I think matching the moldings might look better. I have a WDP, and still think I would want it to be black (the ACS isn't big, so I am assuming your prototype isn't big, either. being small, I think it would loo best black. if it as much size, matching the car color would be better). If I would be ~$50, I would be in.

too early to tell...who knows how much it would cost to make... I would want it to be painted to the body's color.

I'll let you know how interested I might be after I see the pics. I don't mean to sound like an a$$ but it's hard to picture our cars with a roof spoiler...I hope it'll look sweet!

Stanman used the BMW M5 lip spoiler on the window as a roof spoiler... it looks OK. I think the lip spoiler looks better on the trunk.. but it's definitely different and unique. I'd have to see how this one looks before I made an opinion... but if it's anything like the lip spoiler.... not for me....

Vaj10,

Did you start off clean or are you working off a mold? If so, which one? Just curious... I think the TL would look AWESOME with a roof spoiler. I just saw one today on a C32 and it was sweet! Please keep us updated.
