rear view mirror question ??

rear view mirror question ??
anyone ever had their rear view mirror make vibrating noises when they go over bumpy road? how do you correct this?
also, my rear view mirror squeaks real bad when i adjust it. can i just spray some wd 40 on it? is it ok to use on plastic?
any advice will be appreciated.

I would not spray wd40 on it. Go to the store and buy some lubricating grease or gel (whatever it is). You can put some on your fingertips and place it on the moving ball of the mirror. I think spray is too messy
