Just had the rearview mirror on my 2002 fall off. The cheap plastic broke at the ball joint. Anybody else have this problem? How much to fix?

I've heard one or two people with this problem....fixing should be free...take it back to your dealer for warrranty service.

Bring it to the dealer, they can fix that easily. Mine felt off once, but it was a loose hook. Nothing was broken.

Mine fell off last night. I looked up and it was not positioned right (which I found odd). I touched it and it made a 'ping' noise and pieces flew around the car. Now it is hanging by the wire. It was the plastic that fits around the swivel ball.
