Rear Turn Signal Blinking Too Fast

Rear Turn Signal Blinking Too Fast
So I decided to replace my stock orange rear turn signal bulbs with aftermarket red bulbs that appear clear on the outside when not lit. I filed the prong down on both bulbs in order to fit them into my 03 acura TL (non type S) The first bulb I installed blinks way faster than normal. (Rear- Left) The second bulb I installed blinks at normal speed. (Rear-Right) I prefer the normal speed and am trying to figure out how to fix the fast-blinking bulb and how to return it to match its normal speed. Did I file the prong down too much? Too little? I'm just wondering what I did wrong. Let me know if you guys have had this problem before or if you have any good advice for me. Thanks for your time.

Well I figured out why this was happening. Apparently if you do not secure the bulb tightly into the socket (by pushing it in firmly and twisting 90 degrees) then the bulb will blink fast. So if you file off the prong on the rear turn signal just make sure it is all the way in. (Unless you like them blinking fast personally I like them the way they are. All that fast blinking would have driven me nuts and I would have never signaled just because of it.
