I was going to buy the Rear Spoiler from this guy, cuz he sounds legit and I like his deal better then spoiler depot. He has an auction on ebay but I talked to him directly at the phone number he gave me.

Now here is the deal he offered me. He said he would sell it for the starting bid price which was $149 and then, he said he would give the Clear LED for another $10.00 plus shipping bringing the total to $187.56. This of course is shipped and painted. I think thats a good price considering that the Clear LED is in itself about $40 or $47 dollars shipped.

He said that maybe if more people order he might reduce price, so maybe we can a get an order for more people. But thas not the real purpose of this thread, I want you guys to tell me if his paint and all that sounds good. I dont know what PPG paint is but I know its suppose to be good. And he also has other spoilers for other cars too. My cousin is ordering it with me for his 03 Highlander.

 

Sounds TOO good to be true... seems like he won't profit at all. I would say its a bit sketchy.

 

I don't think it's too good to be true. Look at his feedback 99.1% is almost perfect considering he has over 1800 transactions. But you have to remember I've never had business w/ him.

PPG paint is one the best paint on the market now. If he truely uses 3 coats of it & 2 clear coats then it should last along time. This is IF, you wouldn't know after you bought it, you will have to take his word for it.

too good to be true? hell no, that's not even OEM from acura, it's just oem style aftermarket spoiler.

 

Flounder I couldn't find his ad on ebay. That's the guy I was looking for originally. But he's no longer on ebay ne more.

Thas why this guy, and I remember reading in ur ad about the PPG pain and thas why I chose this guy. Plus this guy give the Clear LED w/ spoiler for an extra 10 bux!! I thought that was great. Maybe u can find the other guy's ad on ebay and link it here. I think Im going to give this guy a shot and I'll reort back.

That sounds like a good price, when do you plan to order it? I will probably get one too. How much will it cost to get installed? Any cheaper with just an extra order?

 

mrogers will you be willing to place ur order with us ...and what about you bxscig? And bsscig, I know ur in the LI/Queens/Brooklyn area, so we can get it installed at my body shop guy together if you want. I have to find out how much though, but just an idea.

Also, I have to find out how much the price will get lowered if more people order, but I need defenites, not maybes.

Me and my cousin will be going their together with my car and his Highlander for spoilers, maybe you can join us.

How soon do you plan on getting this? I just spent the money for the OEM Kit. Need to save up for some $$.

That doesn't come with the torsion bars right? Any idea how much that would come out to?

 

I heard you can get that from some dealer for 30 bux... but I'll ask this guy if he sells them by any chance when I speak to him.

As far as getting the spoiler, I would like to order it within 2 weeks or so, are u down with that?

 

Yeah I will be in 2wks. I will have enough money for the spoiler. Hopefully enough for the install and the torsion bar. Let me know when you find out please. Thanks.
